True Education
What is True Education
Why do we fail in life: A reflection!
Why do we fail in life: A reflection! The day we seek our own success, that day we become successful. The day we seek our own interest rather than the public interest, we are successful. The day we think about the future of our children as well as the future of our other children, that day we are successful. The day we learn to live dedicated to integrity, honesty, duty and morality, that day we become successful. Political chair, position and prestige may be there today, but may not be there tomorrow. The day we forget the value and importance of our birth and dedicate ourselves to the welfare of society, nation and the world, we become successful. The day we move forward, we become successful. Success is not just about getting a chair, success should be a daily continuation of life. When we are born, we take one breath. The day we die, let us exhale one breath. Innumerable inhalations and exhalations continue between these two inhalations and exhalations. During this period, when our thoughts are dedicated to the welfare of others along with ourselves, then we are successful. Let us hope that every person born in the sacred womb of every mother becomes successful.
Education misunderstood
Education is often misunderstood as a limited journey of going to school, attending college, or studying at a university only to pass examinations, compete for grades, and secure the highest marks or distinctions. Many people reduce it further to a pathway that ends in finding a high-paying job, building a career, getting married, and having children. While these may be parts of life, they are not the true essence of education.
Education is not merely a means to earn a livelihood or to achieve social status. It is not about becoming confined within the boundaries of nationality, where one sees others only as citizens of different countries to compete or conflict with. It is not about strengthening divisions through organized religion, caste systems, cultural superiority, or ego-driven identities that separate human beings from one another.
True education goes far beyond all these external achievements and social labels. At its deepest level, education means cultivating humanity first. It is about developing compassion, understanding, and respect for all living beings. It encourages us to see beyond differences and recognize the shared essence of human life.
Education is the process of self-cultivation and self-awareness. It helps an individual discover their true self beyond conditioned beliefs and societal expectations. It nurtures self-motivation, not driven by comparison or competition, but by inner growth and understanding. Through true education, one learns to question, reflect, and evolve continuously.
It is also a journey toward inner peace. Education should guide us to understand the value of well-being - not just physical or material well-being, but mental, emotional, and spiritual balance. It teaches us how to live with clarity, harmony, and awareness.
In its highest form, education is not about accumulating information, but about transforming the individual. It is about awakening wisdom, developing empathy, and realizing that life is not merely about external success, but about inner fulfillment and a meaningful existence.
Ultimately, education is the path to becoming a complete human being - free from narrow identities, free from ego, and rooted in truth, kindness, and self-understanding.
